Harbor’s Edge Norfolk is a premier 5-star Continuing Care Retirement Community in Norfolk, VA offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Support and Skilled Nursing. We are seeking reliable part- and full-time Dishwashers to support kitchen operations and ensure a clean, safe dining environment for residents.

You will wash and sanitize dishes, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and follow safety guidelines while collaborating with a caring team to provide exceptional resident experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred; healthcare setting is a plus.
• A genuine passion for serving and supporting older adults.
• Strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing and kitchen areas.
• Dispose of trash and assist with routine cleaning tasks as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines.
• Support the kitchen team to ensure efficient meal service.
• Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned.
