Home Run Inn Pizza in Darien, IL is hiring a Dishwasher / Busser to help keep the dining room guest-ready and support servers and kitchen staff during shifts. This role emphasizes cleanliness, teamwork, and efficient service in a busy restaurant setting.

The position requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a start wage of $12.96/hr plus tips (approximately $17.05/hr with tips). Candidates must be 16+ and obtain a Food Handler certification within 30 days.

Competenze

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Ability to lift, reach, bend, and stoop
• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to ~5 hours
• Work in hot, wet, humid and loud environments
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Food Handler certification within 30 days of hire
• Safety shoes required within 30 days of hire
• Ability to handle cleaning and sanitation chemicals safely
• Willing to assist in all areas of the restaurant

Mansioni

• Promptly clear tables after guests finish dining
• Wipe down and reset tables with proper settings
• Help ensure guests are seated at clean tables quickly
• Refill water glasses and assist servers with food/beverage delivery
• Assist with bringing out food or carrying trays during busy times
• Stock service stations with napkins, utensils, glassware and supplies
• Sweep and maintain cleanliness in guest areas
• Remove trash and keep bussing stations neat
• Thank guests as they are leaving and assist with requests
• Load, run and unload the dish machine
• Keep the dish machine clean and report problems
• Monitor dish machine temperature for sanitary wash cycle
• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware
• Keep dish room and storage areas clean
• Bag and haul dish-room trash to dumpster
• Assist with cleaning cooking equipment
