Inspired Living in Bonita Springs, FL is seeking a Dining Services Dishwasher/Busser (full-time or part-time) to support meal service and maintain a clean, welcoming dining room. Under supervision of the Restaurant and Hospitality Manager, you will buss, wash dishes, assist cooks, set tables, and help ensure safety and sanitation standards during service.

No late shifts are typical for this role. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least one year in food service or customer

Responsibilities

• Supports the development of a positive customer service culture in the dining room under the direction of the Restaurant and Hospitality Manager or Director, Restaurant and Hospitality.
• Takes beverage and food orders, delivers food, clears, cleans, sanitizes, and resets tables to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Maintains a clean dining room and sanitizes all dishware and surfaces.
• Ensures safe work practices and compliance with Safety Committee Standards.
• Fosters teamwork and supports coworkers, residents, and visitors; performs other duties as assigned.

Under the direction of the Restaurant and Hospitality Manager or Director, Restaurant and Hospitality, the Diswasher/Busser is responsible for the quality-of-service delivery during meal service, compliance with special diets offered by the community, and for communicating with the management company on all appropriate matters. This position will assist with setting tables, bussing tables, washing dishes, assisting the cooks as needed, and completing cleaning duties.

Responsibilities:

1. Supports the development of a positive customer service culture in the dining room under the direction of the Restaurant and Hospitality Manager or Director, Restaurant and Hospitality. Offers evaluation on the quality of service and develops systems to maximize the efficiency of meal delivery while maintaining a pleasant dining experience.
2. Takes beverage and food orders, delivers food, clears, cleans, sanitizes, and resets tables. Makes every expected effort to maintain customer satisfaction. Resolves dining challenges with a customer before the conclusion of the meal service.
3. Maintains a clean dining room. This includes all equipment, walls, tabletops and bases, and chairs. Linens are changed as needed. Tabletop condiments and salt and pepper shakers are kept clean. Washes and sanitizes dishware as required.
4. Ensures they and any employees working with them work in a safe manner and that unsafe actions are managed. Compliant with Safety Committee Standards.
5. Fosters teamwork with co-workers, shows initiative in overcoming obstacles, takes actions which assist others beyond job responsibilities, and has a positive impact on co-workers, residents, and visitors.
6. Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
