Job summary

Pizza Inn in Greer, SC is seeking a Dishwasher/Busser to support the kitchen team and deliver the Pizza Inn experience by serving guests and keeping the dining area clean. You will assist in dishwashing, bussing tables, and helping in other areas as needed in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Responsibilities include operating the dish machine, cleaning and sanitizing dishes, removing trash, and maintaining an organized bus/dish area.

Responsibilities

• Cleans soiled dishes and small wares. Returns clean and sanitized dishes to proper locations.
• Maintains dish machine. Ensures it is operating correctly and reports any defects immediately.
• Cleans and polishes machine thoroughly on a regular basis.
• Removes trash from kitchen and places trash in dumpster.
• Keeps dish/bus area clean and organized.
• Assists in kitchen where needed.
• Assists in other areas of the restaurant when needed.
• Completes opening and/or closing checklists.
• Perform other related duties, as assigned by company management

Job description

The Dishwasher/Busser team member is responsible for the successful execution of the Pizza Inn experience through serving the guest in a team member capacity by performing all dishwashing and bussing functions.

Physical & Mental Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for periods of up to 8 hours
• Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to team members and management
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and kneel repeatedly over a long period of time
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
