The Bar Harbor Inn & Spa is looking for a hardworking, dependable, and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team for the 2025 season. This full-time seasonal position is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and understands the importance of cleanliness, teamwork, and reliability.

As a Dishwasher, you'll play a vital role in our kitchen operations, keeping our culinary team equipped and our dining spaces running efficiently. Whether you have experience or are looking for a foot in the door in hospitality, we'll provide the tools and training to help you succeed.

Please note: We do not currently have employee housing available for this role. Candidates must live within driving distance of Bar Harbor, Maine.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Full-time, seasonal (spring through fall)

• Hours: 40 hours/week with weekend, holiday, and evening shifts required

• Location: Bar Harbor Inn & Spa, Bar Harbor, Maine

• Pay: Starting at $17.00/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

• Ensure proper handling and organization of clean dishware

• Maintain cleanliness of the dish station, kitchen floors, and trash areas

• Assist with basic kitchen prep as needed

• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods

• Follow health and safety standards at all times

• Communicate promptly with chefs and supervisors about any equipment issues
