Job summary

ASM Global is seeking a Dishwasher to support our venue dining operations. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness of the restaurant and service areas, cleaning dishes, and assisting in kitchen tasks to ensure a safe, efficient environment.

You will handle tableware, support kitchen staff, and adhere to health and safety standards while working event-driven schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work events including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be physically able to perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall cleanliness of the restaurant and service areas.
• Clear tables and transport wares to the dish room for washing.
• Wash all china, glassware, and silverware.
• Clean and sanitize all equipment, pots, and pans.
• Store equipment in proper locations and manage supplies.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to maintain safety and hygiene.
• Attend mandatory meetings and perform assigned side work.
• Follow health and safety standards in daily tasks.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

THE ROLE

The primary responsibility of a Dishwasher is to clean dishes, kitchen equipment, and maintain orderly work areas as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the restaurant and service areas.
• Clear tables after guests leave. Takes tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing.
• Wash all china, glass and silverware.
• Clean all equipment, pots and pans.
• Store all equipment in proper locations.
• Sweep and mop all floors in the kitchen.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Attend mandatory meetings.
• Perform all assigned side work.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to work all Venue events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
• Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
