Job Summary

Summary: Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwashing machines as assigned, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays following procedures to ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silverware using appropriate equipment and methods, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels.
• Keeps the dish area organized and complies with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors for safety and sanitation.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and maintains cleanliness of garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with loading and unloading supplies and products.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
