Job summary

BCI's Corporate Café in Cupertino is seeking a Dishwasher to support the kitchen team by washing dishes, keeping the dish area clean, and assisting with stocking. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends for a stable work-life balance, and on-site service in a state-of-the-art facility.

The successful candidate will have 1 year in customer service or high-volume food service, plus dishwasher experience if possible, and a willingness to learn and grow within the kitchen.

Job Title: Dishwasher

Work onsite at a state-of-the-art Corporate Caffe and learn from some of the best Chef's in the city! This is a great opportunity to get your feet wet in the Food Service industry and work your way up to Prep Cook!

Responsibilities:

Dishwashers are vital members of the kitchen team and responsible with washing and cleaning tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment in a timely manner. Assists with cleaning, stocking and lifting items in other areas as requested and ensure the dishes are restocked accordingly.

Also, the Dishwasher Team is responsible for keeping the dish room and equipment clean and organized. DMO Team may step in as line servers when the Caffe gets busy.

Key Qualifications:

• 1 Year of experience in customer service or high volume food service - preferably larger, innovative corporate programs, in house or 3rd party but may also be food & beverage experience in a full-service hotel, resort or multi-restaurant chain.
• 1 year of dishwasher experience preferred
• Ability to take direction and work effectively in team environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to staff, peers, supervisors, guests and clients
• Be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process
• Correctly follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

• You will spend time sitting, standing and walking throughout our Caffès.

• We need to lift up to 50 pounds in the Caffè

Approved Food Handler's Card and non-slip shoes prior to first day of work

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Basic level knowledge of health and safety rules
