Job summary

The Doliver of Tanglewood is seeking a dedicated full-time Dishwasher/Utility Worker to support our dining services in a living/ memory care community. You will maintain clean dishware and assist in keeping kitchens organized and sanitary.

Ideal candidates are reliable, hardworking, and able to work weekends and holidays. A sign-on bonus is offered, with program details provided at hire.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in hot, wet, humid, and loud environments for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift, bend, reach, and stand for long periods; lift up to 60 pounds.
• Excellent hygiene and grooming habits.
• Clear and effective communication; must work holidays.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Load, run, and unload the dish machine efficiently.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report issues.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware for dining room and kitchen.
• Clean food prep and production areas as required.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Must be available on weekends and holidays.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Load, run, and unload the dish machine efficiently.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical issues immediately.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware to ensure adequate levels of clean items for the dining room and kitchen.
• Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management or leadership to support the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to work in hot, wet, humid, and loud environments for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, reach, bend, and stoop; work in a standing position for long periods; and safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds up to 30 times per shift.
• Maintain exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Must be able to work holidays.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
