Job summary

Independence Village Waukee is seeking a part-time dishwasher for shifts from 6am to 2pm to support our kitchen team. You will follow proper cleaning procedures, assist with stocking supplies, and uphold health and safety standards while contributing to a positive dining environment for residents and families.

The role emphasizes teamwork, friendly attitude, and clear communication with residents, families, and the culinary staff.

• Stock soap, towels and paper products throughout the kitchen.

• Consistently maintain a positive attitude supporting a team environment with other Dishwashers and the culinary team.
• Promote positive public relations with residents, family members and guests.

Part Time 6am 2pm.

Required Experience

General Working Conditions

• This position entails standing for long periods of time.
• While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper files and other equipment and objects.
• The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
• This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens.
• The employee will occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
• The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others.
• The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
