Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a part-time dishwasher for Independence Village New Hudson. The role supports the culinary team by washing dishes, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with kitchen duties in a caring senior living environment.

The position emphasizes friendly service, teamwork, and reliable communication with residents, families, and staff. Training will cover sanitation, safety protocols, and daily kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Use proper procedures for cleaning and storing items
• Comply with all applicable state and local health and safety codes
• Stock soap towels and paper products throughout the kitchen
• Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures
• May be required to scrub and mop floors, clean and sanitize equipment and work areas
• Consistently maintain a positive attitude supporting a team environment with other Dishwashers and the culinary team
• Promote positive public relations with residents, family members and guests

General Working Conditions

This position entails standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to communicate effectively with others sit stand walk and use hands to handle keyboard telephone paper files and other equipment and objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. The employee will occasionally lift and or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
