Job summary

Cedar Point Club is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas. This role requires washing and sanitizing utensils, china, and glassware, and keeping kitchen spaces tidy. Immediate start date with flexible hours, including nights and weekends, is available.

Ideal candidates will have a high school education, restaurant experience preferred, and a current health card. Strong communication and a professional appearance are valued in this role.

Responsibilities

• Wash wares in dishwashing machine or by hand.
• Wash and polish all stainless steel in kitchen, including shelves, dish cabinets, ice machines, coffee area, refrigerators, walk-ins, etc.
• Wash or clean receiving area and trash areas.
• Collect trash from kitchen areas, empty garbage barrels, wash and re-line with new bags.
• Examine garbage for silverware, dishes and glassware. Remove and clean as necessary.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Store all dishes and other wares in proper areas.
• Clean dish machine after each meal period.
• Assist in food preparation, putting away deliveries, and cleaning coolers, freezers and storage rooms as needed.
• Perform other duties as appropriate.

Property Description: The crown jewel of the club is the 18-hole championship golf course, renovated in 2004. Well-groomed bunkers and attractive landscaping reflect the conscientiousness of the caretakers. The golf course is challenging and presents plenty of temptations to the more polished golfer.

Other diversions at the club include a driving range, putting and chipping greens, swimming pool (seasonal), croquet court, and a complete tennis center with both indoor and outdoor courts. Both the golfing and tennis centers are staffed with certified professionals and include well stocked pro shops.

The Cedar Point clubhouse offers a casual dining room and private dining room; both with panoramic views of the water. Additionally, the facility contains private meeting rooms, an art gallery, locker rooms, and the golfing center. An outdoor terrace is a nice area to relax and mingle with friends after any activity. Weekly events keep the clubhouse alive with members and their guests.
