Job summary

St. Luke’s in Twin Falls, Idaho, is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to support patient services and the food service team. The role involves cleaning dishes, maintaining sanitation of trays, and assisting with general kitchen and hygienic duties in a hospital setting.

You will work with a team to ensure timely cleaning, proper chemical handling, and compliance with safety standards while contributing to a supportive workplace focused on patient care and staff wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Operates dishwasher and/or hand washes dishes, silverware, glassware, and pots and pans.
• Organizes and distributes cleaned and dried items.
• Cleans and sanitizes patient trays.
• Performs cleaning duties including floors, trash pickup, hood fans, air vents, and other equipment.
• Maintains dishwashing machine with proper chemicals per policy.
• Follows PPE, chemical handling, and MSDS guidelines.
• Adheres to food hygiene and health and safety standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You Can Expect:

• Complies with proper utilization of personal protective equipment, chemicals, and MSDS information.
• Adheres to all food hygiene and health and safety requirements in order to meet regulatory and company standards.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
