Description

The dishwasher is responsible for properly washing and sanitizing all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and cookware. They maintain the dish room, dish machine, and kitchen cleanliness. Additionally, they bring trash to receptacles and assist with food preparation when needed.

Requirements

• Operate dish machine according to company and manufacturer specifications
• Keep dish machine clean and sanitized at all times
• Provide clean and sanitized utensils, plateware, glassware, and cookware
• Restock all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans in proper areas
• Keep the dish area clean by sweeping, mopping, and wiping counters
• Remove garbage and recycling and dispose of them properly
• Assist with food preparation as needed
• Assist cooks and prep cooks with proper labeling and storage of food after each meal
• Perform shift change and closing duties
• Complete all duties in a timely and effective manner
• Maintain a professional, fun, and friendly attitude
• Motivate team through positive role modeling
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks
• Undertake additional responsibilities as requested by a manager

• Report to work as scheduled
• Environmental exposures to cold, heat, water, and loud noise are possible
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 35 pounds regularly
• Reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, and immersing hands in water are required
