Job summary

Mikey’s is hiring a dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, glassware, utensils, and cooking equipment in a fast-paced kitchen. On-the-job training is provided and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

The role involves keeping the dishwashing area clean, helping kitchen staff, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards while supporting the team as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience is not required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move heavy objects.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Team player with a positive attitude and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment using dishwashing machines or by hand.
• Ensure all cleaned items are properly stored in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, sinks, and surrounding workstations.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste following proper sanitation guidelines.
• Assist in kitchen cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping floors, and wiping down surfaces.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
• Assist with receiving and stocking kitchen supplies as needed.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and support the kitchen team when necessary.
• Perform additional tasks as instructed by any member of management
• Help fellow team members with any and all tasks needed
