Job summary

Heritage at The Plains, a Sonida Senior Living community in Oneonta, NY, seeks a dedicated dishwasher to support dining services and residents. You will clean and sanitize utensils, cookware, and service areas, ensuring a clean kitchen environment during meals.

As a full-time team member, you’ll participate in in-service education programs, enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, and contribute to a respectful, caring community across independent living and memory care.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED preferred.
• Attends all in-service education programs mandated by Corporate SSL, State and Federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for proper cleaning and handling of all utensils, pots, pans, china, glassware and silverware in dishwasher area.
• Cleans and sanitizes all tableware and cookware used in the service and preparation of meals to the guest; cleans and organizes all dish areas and storage areas as necessary and as directed; handles the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and service areas and assists the cook on the serving line during meal periods.
• Interacts with residents, families, staff and other visitors to the community in a pleasant, respectful and courteous manner.
• Acts as a positive representative of the community at all times.
