Job summary

La Vida Hospitality Group is hiring a Dishwasher for Crooked Hammock Brewery. The role focuses on washing and cleaning tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment, and performing daily maintenance to keep the dishroom organized.

You will work as part of a fast-paced kitchen team committed to high standards and a fun, energetic atmosphere. Starting pay is $17 per hour, with perks like unlimited growth potential, paid time off, employee discounts, travel opportunities, team events, and wellness

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 6 hours).
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to read and comprehend labels on chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Open and midday maintenance of facilities including cleaning & stocking all restrooms, sweeping & mopping floors, and maintaining clean outdoor areas.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Load, run and unload dish machine.
• Set-up three bay sink with detergent, rinse, and sanitizer.
• Stock all necessary cleaning products.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
• Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware in appropriate location.
• Maintain all dish and food service equipment storage areas.
• Keep dish washing area clean and organized.
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
• Assist with trash removal from other kitchen and FOH areas.
• Assist with food prep when needed.
• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
• Clock in and out at scheduled time. Make Management aware of any deviation from schedule.
• Live the brand & be a brand ambassador; make decisions in the best interest of the business at all times.

• Clean food preparation and production areas as required
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor
