Job summary

Oregano's is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to support our kitchen team and ensure a clean, efficient operation in a fast-paced dining environment. You will contribute to an outstanding guest experience.

Operate dishwashing equipment, sanitize dishes and glassware, maintain the cleanliness of the dish area, and assist with basic food preparation while following food safety standards. This position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and availability on Friday, Saturday

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued food safety and handling certification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures.
• Must be able to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing equipment and sanitize dishes, glassware, and utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and assist with general kitchen upkeep.
• Assist with basic food preparation and other kitchen tasks as needed.
• Adhere to food safety, health, and hygiene regulations.
• Promptly report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, and incidents.

• Reports issues: Promptly reports equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, and incidents.
