Job summary

LEGENDS & ASM GLOBAL is seeking a Dishwasher for the seasonal, part-time role at George Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, FL. You will help clean and sanitize kitchenware, maintain organized prep areas, and support event service teams during busy periods.

Ideal candidates follow directions, work well in a team, and stay calm under pressure in a loud, fast-paced stadium environment. Eligible applicants should be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a commercial dish machine preferred.
• Basic food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to take direction and work well in a team environment.
• Ability to work calmly and effectively in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, wash, sanitize, and properly store china, flatware, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure dirty wares are collected and cleaned wares returned to storage.
• Maintain organized kitchen and small wares storage areas.
• Clean and organize all food prep areas daily.
• Monitor floors for slip hazards and keep floors dry.
• Provide assistance to Front of House during high event volume.
• Set up and breakdown stations for events.
• Organize plates, lids, hot boxes and assist in plating.
• Transport loaded hot boxes to pass-out stations.
• Provide bussing and cleanup support for Food & Beverage.
• Dispose of trash and hose out cans.
• Meet uniform and appearance standards; other duties as assigned.

Position Title: Dishwasher
Department: Concessions- Culinary
Reports To: Executive Chef
Status: Seasonal, Part-Time
Location: George Steinbrenner Field, Tampa, FL

Key Responsibilities

• Scrape, wash, sanitize, and properly store all china, flatware, glassware, utensils, and other kitchen equipment in accordance with Legends | ASM Global standards and Health Department regulations.
• Ensure that dirty small wares are collected from all scullery collection points and returned to the dish area. Ensure that clean small wares are organized and returned to the appropriate storage area.
• Maintain the kitchen and small wares storage areas in an organized fashion.
• Clean and organize all food prep areas throughout the facilities daily.
• Monitor floors for potential slip hazard, maintaining a clean and dry floor by sweeping and mopping.
• Provide assistance to Front of House as needed due to event volume.
• Set up breakdown stations for events.
• Organize and set up plates, lids, hot boxes and tables for plate up and assisting in plating.
• Transport loaded hot boxes to pass-out stations.
• Provide busing and cleanup support for Food & Beverage services as needed.
• Disposal of Trash, including hosing out garbage cans.
• Meet uniform and appearance standards at all times.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Demands

• This position will require long periods of standing, walking, and navigating stairs/elevators.
• This position works in a loud noise environment.
• Must be able to transport up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to move heavy (200+ pounds) wheeled carts
• Must have the ability to work late hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
