This means that we rely on our dishwashers to ensure our tableware, cooking utensils, and kitchen area are properly sanitized and ready for use before, during, and after services. We look for people who:

• Have 1-2 years of previous kitchen experience.
• Can work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Are comfortable standing for long periods.
• Are hardworking and maintain cleanliness.

What you will be doing:

• Washing and catching dishes/silverware through the dish machine.
• Keeping the dish machine clean and reporting any issues.
• Monitoring water temperature and chemical levels for sanitation.
• Washing and storing all tableware and kitchenware.
• Keeping the dish room, restrooms, and food prep areas clean and organized.
• Maintaining adequate levels of clean tableware for dining and kitchen areas.
• Monitoring linen and trash containers and emptying them as needed.
• Following proper hygiene and food safety rules.
• Washing metal pots and pans by hand in the 3-compartment sink.
• Washing and lifting glass racks with the glass washer.
• Maintaining overall cleanliness of the kitchen (sweeping, mopping, breaking down boxes, trash removal, etc.).
• Receiving deliveries and restocking shelves.
• Being flexible during shifts to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
