Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for 8+ hours.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with heat, steam and wet conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handler's Card required or obtainable within first 14 days of employment.
• Prior dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collect used kitchenware, utensils, and dishes from dining and kitchen areas.
• Load, operate, and unload dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.
• Wash large or delicate items by hand as needed (e.g., rice pots, oversized cookware, specialty glassware).
• Ensure clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools are sanitized, organized, and stocked to support smooth kitchen operations.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify a supervisor when stock is low.
• Inspect and report any issues with dishwashing equipment or kitchen sanitation concerns.
• Remove garbage, recyclables, and compost in accordance with company procedures and OSHA standards.
• Clean and sanitize designated kitchen areas, storage spaces, and restrooms as assigned, following OSHA, local health department, and company guidelines.
• Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation procedures, including proper chemical handling, labeling, and PPE use.
• Support kitchen staff during peak service times by anticipating needs and communicating proactively.

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout an 8+ hour shift
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to heat, steam, and wet conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Food Handler's Card required (or willing to obtain within first 14 days of employment)
• Prior dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not required
