Job summary

Happy Valley Casino in State College, PA, is hiring dishwashers to maintain cleanliness in a fast-paced kitchen. You’ll operate commercial dishwashing equipment, support the back-of-house, and ensure food safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience with commercial dishwashing equipment, cleaning, or sanitation practices preferred.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, team-focused attitude with a willingness to assist where needed.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, and other kitchen items using commercial dishwashing equipment and manual cleaning methods
• Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to all Department of Health regulations and food safety standards
• Keeping kitchen equipment clean, sanitized, and in proper working condition
• Cleaning and sanitizing floors, mats, workstations, and other kitchen areas
• Properly utilizing cleaning supplies and equipment while maintaining inventory at designated levels
• Assisting kitchen and utility team members as needed to support daily operations
• Supporting a clean, organized, and efficient back-of-house environment
• Providing internal support that contributes to outstanding guest experiences
• Performing additional duties as assigned

We're seeking dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented Dishwashers to help keep our kitchen operations running smoothly. What You'll Do

As a Dishwasher, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards of our food and beverage operations by:

What We're Looking For

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 30-50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout a shift lasting 6-8 hours
• Ability to work in a kitchen environment with varying temperatures and exposure to cleaning chemicals
