Responsibilities of a Utility at SSP America:

• Create a positive guest experience by cleaning and maintaining hygienic work areas
• Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces and equipment including floors, ceiling tiles, walls, windows, worktables, hoods, vents, grills, refrigerators, service counters, and storage areas
• Remove refuse to designated areas
• Clear and reset tables in dining areas between seatings and transport used ware to the kitchen for cleaning
• Scrape food from dishes, pots, and pans and wash by hand or load into dishwasher, then store properly
• Clean equipment with appropriate chemicals to meet sanitary standards, possibly using heavy equipment
• Assist guests with specific requests and communicate needs to servers or supervisors
• Load and unload supply trucks, transferring items between storage and work areas
• Stock, date, rotate, and check the temperature of food items
