Savannah Riverboat Cruises in Savannah, GA is seeking a dependable Dishwasher to keep dishes clean and the galley running smoothly behind the scenes.

Pay is $15/hour, in-person at the Georgia Queen. Part-time and full-time hours are available; weekend and holiday shifts are required. Join a team dedicated to great food, southern charm, and hospitality on the water.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting.
• Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting items.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine and ensure all dishes, glassware, and utensils are cleaned and organized.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dish area and equipment; report any maintenance needs.
• Assist with basic food prep and stock replenishment as needed.
• Receive and organize deliveries; follow FIFO and monitor temps as required.
• Keep galley floors and work spaces clean; manage trash and waste disposal.
• Be a reliable teammate with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

The Role

If you’ve worked in a kitchen before, you know the drill - we need a reliable dishwasher to keep things clean, stocked, and running smoothly behind the scenes.

What You’ll Do

• Run the dish machine and keep dishes, glassware, and utensils clean and organized
• Keep the dish area and equipment clean and working properly
• Help with basic food prep and stocking when needed
• Receive and store deliveries (FIFO, temps, all the good stuff)
• Take out trash, clean floors, and keep the galley safe and tidy
• Be a solid teammate and bring a positive attitude

What We’re Looking For

• Dishwashing experience required
• Can follow direction and work as part of a team
• Comfortable being on your feet and working in a hot, fast-paced environment
• Able to lift, move, and handle repetitive tasks
• Available for weekends & holidays (required)
