Job summary

RiverMead is hiring a dependable Dishwasher to support our Culinary team in Peterborough, NH. You will help keep the kitchen running by cleaning, sanitizing, and storing dishes, utensils, and equipment. This evening shift includes weekends and holidays, contributing to a positive dining experience for our residents.

We offer a weekend differential and team-oriented environment in a not-for-profit continuing care community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Reliable, self-directed and dependable.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine per procedures.
• Wash dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans; return to storage.
• Follow clean-as-you-go procedures to maintain sanitation standards.
• Monitor and empty trash as needed.
• Keep silverware organized and storage containers tidy.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning assignments.
• Sweep and mop kitchen and service areas with safety protocols.
• Break down and clean the dishwashing machine.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Assist with additional duties to support RiverMead's mission.

Now Hiring: Dishwasher

We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our Culinary team as a Dishwasher. In this role, you’ll help keep our kitchen running smoothly by ensuring dishes, utensils, and equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored. Your work directly supports our team and helps create a positive dining experience for our residents.

This is position contains evening hours, including weekends and holidays.

Weekend Differential: $1.50 per hour from Friday at 5:00 PM through Sunday at midnight.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the automatic dishwashing machine according to established procedures


• Wash dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, and pans; return all items to proper storage areas


• Follow “clean as you go” procedures to maintain sanitation standards


• Monitor and empty trash as needed


• Keep silverware sorted and storage containers organized


• Complete daily and weekly cleaning assignments


• Sweep and mop kitchen and service area floors using proper safety protocols (including wet floor signage)


• Break down and clean the dishwashing machine


• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment


• Assist with additional duties as needed to support the team and uphold RiverMead’s mission and values

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of high school required
