Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a reliable Dishwasher to join a busy kitchen. The role focuses on washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and keeping the kitchen clean and sanitary, with responsibilities expanding to general organization and safety.

Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Temporary assignments may last 13 weeks or longer.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher, kitchen, restaurant, or food service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30-50 pounds, as needed.

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment. This role also assists with general kitchen cleanliness and organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Assist with cleaning kitchen floors, counters, workstations, and other areas as needed.
• Properly dispose of trash and recycling and maintain clean waste areas.
• Assist with stocking and organizing clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist kitchen staff with additional cleaning or support duties as needed.
• Maintain consistent attendance and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwasher, kitchen, restaurant, or food service experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30-50 pounds, as needed.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Must be able to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required.
