Job summary

Sagora is seeking a dedicated dishwasher for Adante Assisted Living in San Antonio, TX. You will wash dishes and utensils, maintain cleanliness, and support a high-quality dining program for residents.

You will monitor the dishwasher temperature, remove cracked or damaged items, store dishes properly, dispose of trash, and deep clean the kitchen monthly. Six months of kitchen experience preferred; must read, write and speak English.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes and utensils, ensuring highest standards of cleanliness.
• Monitor the temperature of the dishwashing machine daily to ensure proper operation.
• Remove from service all cracked or broken dishes or damaged utensils and notify supervisor.
• Store all dishes, glassware, and utensils properly for use at next mealtime.
• Dispose of all trash in a proper manner.
• Clean dishwashing machine inside and out after each shift.
• Deep clean kitchen on a monthly basis.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floor, walk-in refrigerator, and freezer each evening.
