Job summary

Southern Utah Veterans Home in Ivins, Utah, is seeking a part-time dishwasher to support resident health and dining services while serving veterans with care and respect.

You will wash and sanitize dishes, keep a clean kitchen, assist with food service operations, and help maintain safety and quality in the dining area. Weekend and evening shifts provide a flexible schedule in a mission-driven healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work well with others as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
• Previous kitchen or dishwasher experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Support food service operations and kitchen staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout work areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Help ensure residents receive excellent dining service.
