Job summary

S&L Hospitality is seeking a Dishwasher to keep wares clean and sanitized according to health and safety guidelines in a busy restaurant environment.

You will wash dishes by hand or machine, stock stations, and help maintain a safe, organized work area. The role requires flexibility, the ability to stand for long periods, and a professional, team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with little supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Lift up to 25 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs regularly.
• Must be at least 18 years of age per state/local laws.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Washes all wares including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers.
• Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.
• Stocks serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other areas with necessary dishes and utensils.
• Cleans trash receptacles with water or steam.
• Moves dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area by hand or using hand trucks.
• May assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed.
• Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

• Ability to push/pull/bend/lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs.

• Must be at least 18 years of age, or minimum age to work in a kitchen environment in accordance with state/local laws.

• Detail-orientated individual who is able to focus on maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Ability to maintain a composed, approachable and professional attitude.
