Job summary

The Plantation at Ponte Vedra Beach in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida is seeking three dishwashing positions. The roles are full or part time and non-exempt, paid hourly between $16 and $18.

Responsibilities include washing and storing all wares, polishing silverware, collecting trash, and cleaning the kitchen area. The team offers comprehensive benefits and eligibility for a 401(k) after one year of service.

Responsibilities

• Wash all wares in dishwashing machine or by hand
• Polish all silverware, platters, and chafing dishes
• Collect trash from kitchen areas; empty garbage barrels, wash and re-line with new bags
• Examine garbage for silverware, dishes, and glassware
• Wash and polish all stainless steel in kitchen, including shelves, dish cabinets, ice machines, coffee area, refrigerators, walk-ins, etc.
• Wash or clean receiving area and trash areas
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors
• Store all dishes and other wares in proper areas
• Clean dish machine after each meal period
• Perform other tasks such as assisting in food preparation, putting away deliveries, cleaning coolers, freezers, and storerooms.

General Job Description/Summary of Duties

Wash and properly store all cooking utensils, china, equipment, flatware, and glassware.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
