Job summary

The Waterford at Plano, a Sonida Senior Living community, is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support the kitchen team and maintain high sanitation standards in a friendly dining environment.

You will handle dishware, assist the cook on the line during peak meals, interact with residents and staff, and participate in in-service trainings and company programs to support excellent resident care.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED preferred
• Attends all in-service education programs mandated by Corporate SSL, State and Federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for proper cleaning and handling of all utensils, pots, pans, china, glassware and silverware in dishwasher area.
• Cleans and sanitizes all tableware and cookware used in the service and preparation of meals to the guest; cleans and organizes all dish areas and storage areas as necessary and as directed; handles the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and service areas and assists the cook on the serving line during meal periods.
• Interacts with residents, families, staff and other visitors to the community in a pleasant, respectful and courteous manner.
• Acts as a positive representative of the community at all times.
