Job summary

Waterford at Plano is seeking a responsible Dining Services Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents and maintain high dining room standards. You will help ensure timely service, good hospitality, and a clean dining area in a senior living community.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role and enjoy delivering exceptional care and service to residents. This position offers competitive benefits and opportunities for training within a growing Sonida Senior Living

Qualifications

• One to two years’ experience in a similar position preferred.
• Enjoy providing exceptional customer service and care to our senior residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide healthy meals for residents in a dining setting.
• Maintain dining room and kitchen cleanliness and service standards.
• Ensure timely meal service and attentive customer service to residents.
• Communicate resident needs and status changes to the team as appropriate.
• Follow all safety and administrative rules including local and state requirements.

Dining Services Cook Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for providing healthy food for residents.
• Maintains standards for dining services to the Residents to include efficient meal service delivery, customer service and cleanliness of the dining room and kitchen.
• Reports problems, concerns and issues observed with food service and communicates them appropriately.
• Observes changes in Resident status, needs or preferences and communicates them appropriately.
• Observes all work, safety, and administrative rules to include local and state requirements.
