DISHWASHER POSITION SUMMARY

Dishwashers keep the restaurant and kitchen running smoothly by ensuring that all equipment and supplies are clean, sanitized, and organized.

DISHWASHER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Provide clean, sanitized, and spot‑free utensils, plateware, glassware, and equipment.
2. Set up dish machine in the AM and close it down in the PM according to proper procedures.
3. Maintain daily cleanliness and maintenance of the dish machine and troubleshoot malfunctions as needed.
4. Wash plateware, glassware, silverware, pots/pans, and kitchen utensils while adhering to sanitation and cleaning procedures.
5. Gather boxes and trash from kitchen and front‑of‑house areas, take them to the dumpster area, relin​e cans, and sweep and mop floors.
6. Assist with prep duties when needed; clean and sanitize throughout the shift.
7. Help put away food and paper deliveries, follow cooler diagrams and the “first in first out” rule when stocking shelves, and mark vendor‑supplied items with date received.
8. Supply the line with needed items.
9. Supply the bar and server stations with ice.
10. Complete the opening, shift‑change, and closing checklists in multi‑colored wall units, as well as weekly and monthly cleaning tasks.
11. Perform other duties as needed per Coach request.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to read and write in English.
