Job summary

AC by Marriott Downtown Orlando is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to join our kitchen team in Orlando, FL. You will help keep dishes, flatware, and kitchen equipment clean and organized to support daily service. The role is full-time and requires weekend availability.

No prior experience is required; training is provided. You will follow safety and sanitation standards and contribute to a clean, efficient kitchen environment supporting guest satisfaction at Kolter Hospitality-managed property.

Responsibilities

• Operate dish machine in the prescribed manner to clean and sanitize all china, glass, silverware, pots, pans, and related items.
• Maintain and clean kitchen floors and mats during and at end of shifts.
• Store glassware, plates, flatware and kitchen equipment in proper racks.
• Clean walls and kitchen equipment, and empty trash cans in a timely manner.
• Correctly use, store and label chemicals.
• Set up hot boxes and assist with plate up when needed.
• Assist with bussing when necessary.
• Report any items in need of repair.
• Ensure work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

This position is responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen, including dishes, flatware and related equipment.

Performance Expectations:

• Operate dish machine in the prescribed manner to clean and sanitize all china, glass, silver, pots, pans, silverware etc. according to proper cleaning and product standards.
• Responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of kitchen floors and mats during and at end of shifts.
• Store glassware, plates, flatware and kitchen equipment in proper racks and organize properly.
• Clean walls and kitchen equipment, and empty trash cans in a timely manner.
• Correctly use, store and label chemicals.
• Set up hot boxes and assist with plate up when needed.
• Assist with bussing when necessary.
• Report any items in need of repair.
• Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation. Report faulty broken equipment immediately.
