Keke's Breakfast Cafe in Ocala, FL is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to keep our kitchen running smoothly by washing and cleaning tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. You will maintain an organized and hygienic dish area, supporting daily operations with a strong attention to detail.

Starting pay ranges from $13.00 to $15.00 per hour. This full-time role offers health insurance benefits and 50% employee meals.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine, load and unload efficiently.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report issues to ensure smooth operation.
• Monitor water temperature for sanitary wash cycles.
• Wash, dry, and store all tableware and kitchenware.
• Keep the dish room organized and free of clutter.
• Ensure a consistent supply of clean tableware for dining and kitchen.
• Manage waste and transport trash to the dumpster regularly.
• Handle tableware with care to minimize breakage.
• Maintain adequate levels of detergents and cleaning supplies.
• Clean food preparation areas as needed.
• Collaborate with team.

Essential Functions

• Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine: load, run, and unload effectively.
• Keep the dish machine clean; report any issues promptly to ensure it functions smoothly.
• Monitor the water temperature of the dish machine to guarantee a sanitary wash cycle.
• Wash, dry, and neatly store all tableware and kitchenware to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Keep the dish room organized and free from clutter to promote a productive environment.
• Ensure a consistent supply of clean tableware for both the dining room and kitchen.
• Manage waste: bag and transport trash to the dumpster regularly.
• Handle tableware with care to minimize breakage and loss.
• Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies for daily operations.
• Clean food preparation areas, production zones, and the dish room as needed.
