Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our dining service team in Oak Park, IL. You will clean and sanitize the kitchen, manage dishware and prep equipment, and support cooks while ensuring safety and organization in a fast-paced environment.

You will interact with residents and teammates to maintain a welcoming dining experience, especially during weekends and busy periods.

Qualificações

• Demonstrated ability to follow daily assignments.
• Experience with cleaning standards in a commercial food operation.
• Ability to work assigned shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in the kitchen, including operating the dish machine, cleaning equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, and maintaining appliances.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food and equipment to meet health and safety standards.
• Assist cooks with non-food preparation tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen and dish room environment.
• Assist with stocking following food deliveries.
• Make hospitality and resident satisfaction a top priority in every interaction.

About The Role

As a Dishwasher at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will be the heart of our dining service program! The Dishwasher is responsible for all sanitation and cleaning of the kitchen and for ensuring that all food preparation equipment, dishes and utensils are clean, sanitized and safely and efficiently stored and ready for use. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. They excel in a fast-paced, physically active position, collaborate effectively, and embrace a growth mindset, prioritizing exceptional hospitality and helping seniors to thrive as they age.

Your Typical Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in the kitchen, including operating the dish machine, cleaning equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, and maintaining appliances

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English
• Demonstrated ability to follow instruction for daily assignments
• Experience with cleaning standards in a commercial food operations
• Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
