Job summary

OTG at John F Kennedy International Airport is seeking a Dishwasher to support dining and retail operations at JFK. The role requires maintaining clean dishware, utensils, and cookware while delivering strong guest service in a fast-paced environment.

You will load and run the dish machine, stock tableware, and ensure sanitation across kitchen and dining areas, with a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. or more.
• Must be mobile and able to stand for extended periods, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a guest focus while performing duties.
• Load, run, and unload the dish machine.
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for the dining room and kitchen.
• Assume 100% responsibility for the cleanliness and sanitizing of dishware, utensils, and cookware.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problem to Manager immediately.
• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
• Clean and sanitize food, preparation, and production areas, as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
