Job summary

Big Woods Restaurant Group in Noblesville, Indiana is seeking a Dishwasher to wash and clean tableware, keep the dishroom and equipment clean, and support kitchen operations.

As part of the BWQOHT, Inc. family, you will help maintain sanitary wash cycles, manage dishmachine operations and ensure an organized work area during busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environments for extended periods.
• Must be physically capable of lifting and maneuvering up to 60 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods (up to 5 hours).
• Ability to operate a dishwashing machine and handle cleaning supplies safely.

Responsibilities

• Load, run and unload dish machine.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report problems.
• Monitor water temperature for sanitary wash.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
• Keep dishroom clean and organized.
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
• Bag and haul dishroom trash to dumpster at designated times.
• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage.
• Maintain detergents and cleaning supplies.
• Clean food prep and production areas as required.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation.

Big Woods Restaurant Group is hiring! A part of the BWQOHT, Inc. family (Big Woods Restaurants, Quaff ON! Brewing and Hard Truth Distilling Co.), Big Woods offers a unique opportunity for the right qualified individual to serve as Dishwasher at our Noblesville, Indiana location.

The Dishwasher is responsible for washing and cleaning tableware, pots, pans, cooking equipment. You are also responsible keeping the dishroom and equipment clean and organized.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Load, run and unload dish machine.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
• Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
• Keep dishroom clean and organized.
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
• Bag and haul dishroom trash to dumpster at designed times.
• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
• Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
• Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time.
• Be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.
• Be able to working in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
• Be able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds up to 30 times per shift.
