DoubleTree by Hilton Manhattan, Kansas is seeking a dependable Dishwasher and Prep Cook to join our culinary team. You will help maintain a clean kitchen, support food preparation, and ensure team has the tools and ingredients to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests and banquet events.

Ideal candidates are reliable, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and flexible to shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen, dishwasher, restaurant, hotel, or food service experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, cookware, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen, dish room, and storage areas.
• Assist cooks with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and preparing recipes.
• Stock and replenish kitchen supplies and food items.
• Receive, organize, and store deliveries according to food safety standards.
• Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Assist with banquet and restaurant preparation as needed.
• Remove trash and recycling, and maintain clean work areas throughout each shift.
