Job summary

American Golf Corporation in Los Angeles is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to keep our kitchen supplied with clean dishes and prep items in a fast-paced setting.

You will work closely with kitchen staff, follow safety guidelines, and help maintain a hygienic, efficient operation, including evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork in a busy kitchen.
• Ability to understand and follow directions accurately.
• Ability to work effectively with kitchen staff and adapt to pace.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine.
• Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain dish machine.
• Unload dishes and utensils from dish machine and organize them properly.
• Setup or break down dishwashing area.
• Sweep/mop floors.
• Maintain a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping as needed.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as requested.
• Clean food prep stations and equipment.
• Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen like coffee makers, pots and pans, mixers, etc.
• Take out trash and rinse garbage cans.
• Report kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.

Job Purpose

The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring the kitchen has a steady supply of clean plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans, and glasses for the guests and members The ideal candidate can handle working in a bustling, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions

• Days and hours of work vary by schedule and business needs
• Evening, weekend, and holiday work will be required
