Morningside House of Towamencin is hiring for a Dishwasher to join the dining services team in Lansdale, PA. This role focuses on maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen by cleaning dishes, silverware, and cookware while adhering to established procedures and safety standards.

The dishwasher will operate the dishwashing machine, manage soap and rinse chemicals, and assist with stock and kitchen organization. Training and development opportunities are available within the team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitary condition of dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans, and equipment.

• Remove damaged or broken dishes and utensils from service.
• Stock delivered food and non-food items.
• Keep bins clean and organized; perform deep cleans as needed.

Dishwasher - Summary:

To maintain clean, sanitary conditions in the kitchen including all china, silverware, glassware, pots, pans and equipment. This position reports to the Director of Dining Services.

Dishwasher - Responsibilities:

• Maintain sanitary condition of dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans, equipment and kitchen in accordance with Morningside Elite Management standards.
• Safely and efficiently operates dish washing machine according to procedure manual.
• Dishwasher ensures proper soap and rinse chemicals are loaded for washing.
• Removes from service any dishes, utensils, and glassware that are damaged or broken.
• Stocks delivered food and non-food items.
• Empty and clear garbage bins and breakdown of boxes.
• Dishwasher deep cleans kitchen and equipment.
• Attends all training and in-service seminars.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Performs all duties in adherence to Morningside Elite Management standards.
• Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
• Dishwasher maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and coworkers.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures of Morningside Elite Management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
