Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas within a long-term care facility. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and friendly resident interaction throughout daily duties.

The position requires adherence to health policies and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds while standing for extended periods. Training and ongoing support are provided to ensure quality service and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with staff and residents.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils thoroughly to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Sanitize equipment, workstations, and dining areas to ensure cleanliness.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Dispose of waste and recycle materials as needed.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State / County law.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area is required.
