Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is hiring a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas of a long-term care facility. You will support resident and staff experiences while working in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities include washing dishes, sanitizing stations, following safety rules, handling waste, and delivering friendly service to residents and guests. Training and adherence to policies are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants and staff.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as required by state/county law.

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils to maintain cleanliness.
• Sanitize equipment, workstations, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
• Dispose of waste and recycle materials as needed.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on State / County law.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area is required.
