Job summary

ASM Global-SMG is seeking a Dishwasher for the Kitchen at Accesso ShoWare Center in Kent, WA. This role involves pre-rinsing dishes, operating the industrial dishwasher, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid food handler's permit. The position is hourly and scheduled for varied shifts, including nights and weekends, with benefits after completing specified hours.

Job Title

Dishwasher – Department: Kitchen / Catering – Location: Accesso ShoWare Center, Kent, WA – Reports to: Sous Chef / Executive Chef – Status: Hourly / Non-Exempt – Pay Rate: $17.45

Responsibilities

• Pre-rinse all dishes before placing them in the industrial dishwasher
• Use the industrial dishwasher to wash all dishes from the kitchen, concession stands, and catering events
• Clean all kitchen equipment on a regular basis and as requested by the Executive Chef or other team members
• Clean kitchen floors on a regular basis
• Assist chefs with preparation for events
• Place all recycling and trash in the appropriate locations
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must hold a current and valid food handler’s permit
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Benefits

• Eligible to join 401K after 1 year and 1000 hours of service
• Holidays worked are paid at time and a half
• Sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked and can be used in 2-hour increments or more
• Eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits after completing 1560 hours in a 365‑day period
