Job summary

Cypress Village in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a hospitality focused Dishwashe to join our team for a full-time role with a 3:00pm–11:00pm schedule. This position supports dining services and helps maintain kitchen sanitation in a senior living community.

Responsibilities include operating the dish machine, setting up the area, preparing food for meals, assisting with sanitation, and trash handling. Flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Obtain and hold any local or state required food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certifications
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Must enjoy working with the senior population.

• Setting up and cleaning the dish machine area; checking temperatures and soap dispensing levels
• Preparing food for meals
• Assisting in maintaining preparation and service areas in a sanitary condition
• Emptying garbage and moving trash to dump site

Required skills and qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous restaurant experience preferred
• Obtain and hold any local or state required food handling/supervision/sanitation licenses and/or certifications
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Must enjoy working with the senior population
