Job Description: Dishwasher at Main Event
At Main Event, the Dishwasher position is vital to the overall cleanliness of the building and the safety of our Guests and staff. Our Dishwasher staff is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and properly storing all dishes, flatware, utensils, and kitchenware.
Responsibilities:
- Clean, sanitize, and store all dishes, flatware, utensils, and kitchenware.
- Handle all glassware and dishware carefully to prevent breakage.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen pots, pans, and utensils.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dish areas, including floors, walls, and drains.
- Assist with line maintenance, sweeping, and clearing dirty dishes.
- Help with some prep and banquet items as directed by management.
- Ensure all safety and sanitation policies are followed.
- Assist other kitchen staff with pressure point relief during shifts.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with team members to promote a cooperative environment.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous maintenance experience at a hotel or restaurant is preferred but not required.
- Ability to clearly communicate with Guests and Team Members.
- Must be disciplined and self-motivated.
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance in accordance with dress guidelines.
- Willing to work days, nights, and weekends as required.
