Job summary

Cypress Village in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a hospitality focused Dishwasher to join our team. This role supports front-line dining operations for our senior residents.

Responsibilities include operating the dish machine, preparing meals, and maintaining sanitary prep and service areas. Evening shifts, weekends and holidays required; drug screening and background check performed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Local/state food handling/sanitation licenses or certifications preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate a dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, and utensils.
• Set up and clean dish area, monitor temperatures and soap levels.
• Prepare food for meals as needed.
• Maintain sanitary prep and service areas.
• Assist with trash removal and sanitation duties.

Full Time Available

Schedule: 3:00pm-11:00pm

Your responsibilities would include:

• Operating a dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware and food service equipment
• Setting up and cleaning the dish machine area; checking temperatures and soap dispensing levels
• Preparing food for meals
• Assisting in maintaining preparation and service areas in a sanitary condition
• Emptying garbage and moving trash to dump site

Required skills and qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous restaurant experience preferred
• Obtain and hold any local or state required food handling/supervision/sanitation licenses and/or certifications
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Must enjoy working with the senior population
