Key Responsibilities
As a Dishwasher for dnata Catering, your primary responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to efficiently clean and organize the kitchen area, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your role involves operating commercial dishwashing machines, handling and storing clean dishes properly, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Your attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to maintaining a clean workspace will contribute to dnata Catering's success.

dnata is one of the world's largest air services providers, established in 1959, operating in 127 airports, offering ground handling, cargo, travel, and flight catering services across 35 countries. The company handles over 1,900 flights daily, moves over 8,500 tons of cargo, books over 16,000 hotel stays, and uplifts over 320,000 meals each day.

You Will

• Follow established rules for entry to building and work areas, properly attired and in compliance with HACCP guidelines for personal hygiene, and observe security precautions.
• Load dishwashing machine with soiled chinaware, trays, glasses, and silverware in appropriate carriers.
• Ensure the dishwashing machine operates at proper temperature with detergent and necessary chemicals.
• Unload the machine and store cleaned items appropriately.
• Sanitize all trolleys, carriers, oven racks, and drawers, and deliver to storage areas.
• Develop a sanitation schedule to meet SOP frequency and ensure all team members follow chemical safety and food safety procedures.

Ideal Candidate

• Lead employees to ensure compliance with safety, company, and regulatory procedures, ensuring sanitation meets FDA, USDA, and internal standards.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and activities documented per policy.
• Have working knowledge of GMPs, sanitation procedures, and HACCP.

Nonessential Functions

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

The salary is $19.75 hourly with weekly pay, excluding incentives. Compensation considers location, experience, and qualifications.

You Have

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years’ experience in cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial work.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing experience.
• Attention to detail and self-organization.
• Ability to handle a heavy workload.
• Flexibility for different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong prioritization skills and multitasking ability.

Physical and Work Environment

Requires standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching regularly. Must lift/move up to 30 pounds. Work is indoors with variable noise levels.
