Job summary

Meadows of Napa Valley, part of Transforming Age, is seeking a dependable Dishwasher to maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment and support dining services. Pay ranges from $18.50 to $20.50 per hour, full-time schedule with days off varying during training.

Job description

Location: Meadows of Napa Valley 1800 Atrium Parkway Napa CA 94559 Located in the heart of Wine Country, The Meadows of Napa Valley, a not-for-profit Life Plan Community, is the area’s premier senior living experience.

Our retreat-like campus offers residents resort-style services and amenities, gorgeous residences, delicious dining at our three onsite restaurants, and a continuum of healthcare including Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing.

Pay: $18.50–$20.50 per hour / DOE Job Type: Full-Time

We’re looking for a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment while supporting our dining services team.

What You’ll Do

• Monitor and record water temperature and sanitizer solution levels and notify management when levels are outside the required range.
• Set up and break down the dishwashing machine as needed, including arms, screens, traps, and baskets.
• Clean the inside and outside of the dishwashing machine and ensure it is operating properly.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen production equipment, work surfaces, ware-washing systems, garbage cans, and surrounding kitchen areas.
• Maintain the cleaning-supply and chemical storage room, keeping supplies stocked, properly labeled, organized, and clean.
• Follow all applicable sanitation, safety, and environmental guidelines.
• Occasionally assist with food preparation and other kitchen duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule Full-Time Days off may vary during training. Once training is completed, a permanent schedule will be established.

What You Need to Succeed

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with kitchen organization preferred.
• Good communication skills in English, both oral and written.
• Ability and willingness to occasionally assist with other kitchen duties.
• Ability to follow sanitation, safety, and cleanliness standards consistently.
• Successful completion of a background check. Depending on state and local requirements, this may include a drug screen, physical examination, TB test, and fingerprinting.
• CPR and First Aid certification may be required in certain state or local jurisdictions, including California Title 22 requirements.
