Job summary

The Meadows of Napa Valley in Napa, California is seeking a dependable Dishwasher to support our dining services team in a full-time role. You will maintain a clean, organized kitchen, monitor dishwashing operations, and help ensure sanitary, safe food preparation areas for our residents.

Candidates must be at least 16, have a High School Diploma or equivalent, and communicate in English. Prior kitchen experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record water temperature and sanitizer solution levels.
• Set up and break down the dishwashing machine and routinely inspect equipment.
• Clean the inside and outside of the dishwashing machine and ensure proper operation.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces and related areas.
• Maintain the cleaning-supply and chemical storage area; keep stocked and organized.
• Follow sanitation, safety, and environmental guidelines.
• Occasionally assist with food preparation and other kitchen duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We’re looking for a dependable and hardworking **Dishwasher** to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment while supporting our dining services team. ### **What You’ll Do*** Monitor and record water temperature and sanitizer solution levels and notify management when levels are outside the required range.* Set up and break down the dishwashing machine as needed, including arms, screens, traps, and baskets.* Clean the inside and outside of the dishwashing machine and ensure it is operating properly.* Clean and sanitize kitchen production equipment, work surfaces, ware-washing systems, garbage cans, and surrounding kitchen areas.* Maintain the cleaning-supply and chemical storage room, keeping supplies stocked, properly labeled, organized, and clean.* Follow all applicable sanitation, safety, and environmental guidelines.* Occasionally assist with food preparation and other kitchen duties.* Perform other duties as assigned. ### **Schedule****Full-Time**Days off may vary during training. Once training is completed, a permanent schedule will be established. ### **What You Need to Succeed*** Must be at least **16 years of age**.* High School Diploma or equivalent.* Experience with kitchen organization preferred.* Good communication skills in English, both oral and written.* Ability and willingness to occasionally assist with other kitchen duties.* Ability to follow sanitation, safety, and cleanliness standards consistently.* Successful completion of a background check.
